Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Jason Wheel Research LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”), the operator and data controller of the Jason Wheel services, collects, uses, discloses, protects and retains personal information through the Jason Wheel App, jasonwheel.com, the member workspace, customer support and related services (together, the “Service”). “Jason Wheel” is the product and service brand used by the Company. This policy does not govern a broker, app store, payment provider or other third party operating under its own privacy policy.

We do not intentionally request government identification numbers, bank-transfer credentials or full payment-card details through ordinary website forms.

• Directly from you when you register, configure the Service, contact support, connect a brokerage or make a purchase.
• Automatically from your device and requests when the Service authenticates a session, protects an account, records diagnostics or prevents abuse.
• From service providers such as app stores, payment platforms, email or push providers, and a broker you choose to connect.
• From public or licensed market-data sources used to generate market research. Market data is not treated as your personal information unless it is associated with your account activity.

• create, authenticate and secure accounts and verified devices;
• provide Watchlists, alerts, reports, subscriptions, referrals, read-only portfolio views and requested features;
• process and reconcile subscription entitlements and communicate account or service notices;
• respond to support, privacy and security requests;
• detect fraud, account sharing, abusive automation, security violations and service misuse;
• operate, troubleshoot, audit, improve and measure the reliability of the Service;
• comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements and protect users, the Company and others.

We disclose only the information reasonably needed for the following purposes:

• Vendors and processors: hosting, security, email, push notification, customer support, app-store, payment and similar operational providers acting for the Service.
• At your direction: a brokerage or other service you choose to connect, or a report/export you ask the Service to produce.
• Legal and safety: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse or defend legal claims.
• Business transactions: as part of a documented merger, financing, reorganization, sale or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.

Brokerage connections are optional and user-specific. Connection credentials are encrypted at rest, are not displayed again after storage and are used only for the authorized read-only synchronization workflow. Jason Wheel Research LLC does not use the App or website connection to place trades or take custody of assets.

You may remove a connection through available account controls. Removing it stops future synchronization; previously synchronized records may remain for a limited period when needed for account history, security, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Your broker remains responsible for its own records and privacy practices.

The website uses a strictly necessary, first-party session cookie to keep you signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery and maintain account security. It is configured as HTTP-only and SameSite=Lax; production use is intended to occur over HTTPS with the Secure attribute.

Jason Wheel Research LLC does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking on jasonwheel.com. A browser setting that blocks the necessary session cookie may prevent sign-in or protected website features from working.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and audit trails, administer subscriptions, resolve disputes and comply with law. Retention depends on the type of record, account status, operational need and legal requirement; different records therefore have different retention periods.

When an account-deletion request is completed, account data is deleted or anonymized unless a limited record must be retained for fraud prevention, security, financial reconciliation, legal compliance or the establishment or defense of claims. Deletion from active systems may precede deletion from protected backups, which rotate on a controlled schedule.

Jason Wheel Research LLC uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data, including transport encryption, password hashing, encrypted brokerage credentials, signed API requests, device-key verification, least-privilege access, rate limiting and audit monitoring.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and verified devices, and notify [email protected] promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of personal information; to learn about categories collected and disclosed; to opt out of certain sales, sharing or targeted advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request.

• Use available App or website controls for notification preferences, subscriptions and brokerage connections.
• Use account controls for available export, correction or deletion workflows.
• Email [email protected] for a privacy request not available in the product.

We will verify a request before acting and may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable consumer-privacy laws may exercise the rights described above. The categories collected during the preceding 12 months are described in “Information we collect”; business purposes are described in “How we use information”; and recipient categories are described in “How information is disclosed.”

Jason Wheel Research LLC does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about an individual. Because those activities are not performed, there is no separate sale/share opt-out required for the current Service. Contact us if you believe a request or browser privacy signal has not been handled appropriately.

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Jason Wheel Research LLC or its providers operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from your home jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical or organizational safeguards for cross-border processing.

The Service is intended for adults and account holders must satisfy the age requirements in the Terms of Use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy as the Service, law or data practices change. The revised policy will identify a new “Last updated” date. When a change is material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate, such as an in-product message or email.
